Frank Kaplan

Frank completed his Law Degree at the University of New Brunswick. He then came west to B.C. and articled and was called to the Bar in 1970.

For the first ten years he practiced as a trial lawyer in the areas of criminal and civil litigation. He then became a solicitor, which he continued until his retirement.

Frank has participated as a panelist and Chair in the Continuing Legal Education Society courses on Real Property Law and has lectured to clients on real estate and banking law throughout the Province.

Frank was the lead lawyer for the Law Society of British Columbia as it developed the Western Conveyancing Protocol and has assisted various Canadian banks in instituting this program.

Frank retired on March 31, 2013.
